The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, pays tribute to the Rolling Stones' five-decade career with a special exhibit, "Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction." It's possible the veteran rockers will be somewhere close enough to drop in on the exhibit - they will be on an 18-20 show tour in the United States from May 5 to 16 Jun, a continuation of their 50th anniversary celebration. UNITED STATES 24 May 2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors touring Rolling Stones

After North America, they headline the Glastonbury Festival on Jun 29 in England and perform at London's Hyde Park on Jul 6. Tickets for the Hyde Park gig sold out in minutes, and are being resold on ticket marketplace Viagogo at a starting price of UK £1,097 (US $ 1683) each. "Diamond Circle" tickets cost UK £2,500 (US $3835) and upwards.

The Stones returned to the stage in 2012 after five years away to celebrate their 50th anniversary. They performed five well-received shows in the UK and US, according to Britain's Telegraph newspaper, including two at the O2 Arena. The newspaper notes that some O2 tickets were later being resold on ticket resale websites for UK £12500 (US $19,122).

The Hyde Park concert will take place almost 44 years to the day since The Stones first played there in 1969, and less than a week after they headline the 2013 Glastonbury festival for the first time. Tickets for Glastonbury have already sold out.

The concerts begin in Los Angeles, follow in Canada, then end in Philadelphia. Former band mate Mick Taylor, a member of the Stones from 1969 through 1974, will be a special guest throughout the tour.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum presentation will chronicle the band from the mid-1960s until today. The exhibit, which takes up two-and-a-half floors of the Museum, celebrates the Stones' contribution to popular music from their earliest days playing small clubs, to their era-defining recordings such as "Gimme Shelter," "Paint It Black," "Jumping Jack Flash," "Tumbling Dice," "It's Only Rock And Roll" and sold-out global tours. The exhibit will be open till March 2014. (WRITTEN APR 2013)
