Regional elections are held in Italy with former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi free to campaign with Forza Italia after completing his sentence for tax fraud. The 78-year-old is banned from standing for public office.
Italy is divided into 20 regions. On May 31, 2014, seven of the regions have regional elections - Campania, Veneto, Apulia, Tuscany, Liguria, Marche, Umbria.
